An animated film for VidCon where every character is a Wondershare product — and somehow it still had to feel like a world, not a lineup. I led it end to end: character design, story, look, music, and the pitch to the brand team. Hands on the motion and key-frame animation, not just directing from the back.
The Brief
Wondershare needed a fully animated brand film for VidCon 2022 — one that featured every product in the lineup but still felt like a world, not a product catalogue. Full character design, an original story, music, and a look that could hold up on a stage.
The Approach
Each character was built to carry the personality of its product — not just a mascot but a character with a role in the story. I led the team through the full creative: concept, character development, visual style, and animation. We presented the complete creative direction to the brand team and got it made.
My Hands
I was on the motion design and key-frame animation for multiple critical moments — not directing from the back but in the work itself alongside the team. I worked with an amazing team at Wondershare that inspired me each day during this project. A true passion project and this excitement is easy to see in the final output.
